Ridiculous as this may seem, this is our all-time top rated video on Metacafe. Probably because many Metacafe visitors don’t speak English. And because ratings on Metacafe videos have absolutely no correlation to how good something is.

Hey, everybody. Just checking in because it’s been a little while. We are just putting the finishing touches on a new video that we think you’ll like (it features the ever-hilarious William Kidd, the ever-hot Kaila Yu, and– of course– Mona, as well as an awesome animation by Destination Creation)– check back in a couple of days.

We are also anticipating the launch of District Lines new Liv Films-themed t-shirt line. It’ll be a small selection at first, but if you guys like them, they’ll make more. I don’t want to give anything away, but if wanted to (re-)acquaint yourself with the following two videos, that might be a good idea…

It’s day five of our seven-day “Baby Jesus Potato” auction, and ebay still hasn’t seen fit to add it to their newest listings. So… the auction remains visible only to people who we’ve referred directly, and those who just happen to be searching ebay for “baby jesus potato”. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m pretty sure that’s not how it’s supposed to work. Uh, ebay… online auctions is the ONLY thing your company does… it just seems like you should be better at it than this…

Of course, what’s bad news for our attempted publicity stunt is good news for anyone who actually wants to win the stupid potato. You can follow the link below if you’re interested and bid with the assurance that no members of the general public are able to bid against you…

As per usual, Metacafe is experiencing some glitches, so we haven’t been able to get the new video on yet.  It’s a good one though, and you’re not going to want to miss it.  So, here’s an idea… if you’re not on our mailing list yet, why not sign up right now (over there to your far right)?  That way you’ll be the first to know when the new video is finally up.

Still kind of sucks, but we’re working on getting that organized and adding more photos to the site soon as well.  You’ll also notice that there are now links to photos from many videos and from all of the bios, so if you want to see pictures of Mona, for example, you can click on the link that says

and you won’t have to waste your time wading through pictures of, say, me and Will.

We’ve done a lot of filming over the past 2-3 days, and should have two new videos done very shortly.  In the meantime, here’s one from our recent series that has kind of gotten lost in the shuffle:

What’s new?  Well, for starters, we now have a “What’s New at Liv Films?” page, where we’ll keep you up to date on, uh… what’s new… here at Liv Films.  If you don’t care what’s new and just want to start watching videos, you can go ahead and click on the new “new releases” button (or on any of the other handy category buttons) on the right.  They look like this:

And are intended to make navigating the site a little bit easier.

You may also notice that we have new buttons for our various performers as well that look like this:

I am currently working on finally adding some biographical information about the performers who appear in our videos, but what we have already changed on the Bio pages, however, is that all videos are now searchable by performer– so, for example, if you are a big Anna Bohn fan, it is now easier than ever to find all of the videos that she has done with us.  Click on her name above to see how this works.  We are currently working on a similar function for photos and hope to have that done shortly.  We will also be adding many more photos in the near future as well.

Finally, we have begun adding banners to our site, in an effort to get more people with websites, blogs, MySpace pages, etc., to link to us.  Please, please consider putting up our link on whatever sites or pages you might have.  We’ll be happy to link back to you; just send an email to jedgillen@gmail.com.
