Aren’t you just simply wonderful???
Yes…
There we go. Welcome back.
That was worth the wait.
The moral fiber of society would be crumbling without you.
Nice video
That was great.
I have only one little gripe with all your productions: the “background music” is always far too loud for me to make out what Mona is saying. Turn down the volume on that racket or start subtitling, please!
Apart from that, the message (as far as I could make it out) is a cool and important one. And Mona is just a great person to look at while you’re getting upset with the noise overload
“as far as I could make out”…?
Come on; exaggerating just a little bit, maybe? Anyone else having problems hearing what is being said?
I really wish folks would start explaining the differences from Type-1 and Type-2 diabetics.
Type-2’s are the fat assed future amputees that you see on on the “fat people” newsreel.
Type-1’s are much more health conscious (because we have to be in order to survive) and I can give you several examples. Like me! Or Jackie Robinson. We’re the ones that stem cell research would help. Ron Paul is against that by the way. Type-1 is unpreventable.. ya just get it.
It’s an easy mistake… but let’s get specific. Just needed to clarify.
Crackpot “Type-1″ Press
Rest assured, we meant only to ridicule the kind of people whose own gluttony is to blame for their ill-health, not those with the other kind of diabetes.
Just to be clear, libertarians aren’t inherently against stem cell research, just against government funding for medical research of any kind. If Ron Paul is against it in general, it’s only because he is, unfortuntely, also wacky religious…
I could understand Mona just fine, and I’m usually the guy who can’t understand movie dialog when the score is loud.
Love it! You guys are cracking me up…
@Jed Gillen:
Well, we are not ALL native english speakers, not everyone has the same perfect hearing (there are many different kinds of people, you know?), and the “background” music is not quite in the background. Or maybe your mike is a bit shabby, what do I know?
Truly, I could maybe understand half of it, and not because my english would be bad
Hey, if this were Metacafe, I would still rate it 5 stars, but only because of Mona
I just mean, what the *peep* is Mona mumbling when she’s trying to close the suitcase? I have no CLUE what she’s saying there…
I’m sorry, I don’t want to spoil the mood here, but I thought you should know… and as I said, this is the only thing bugging me. The rest of it is all great!
I could understand Mona as well, but I would agree that the background music should be toned down just a little to increase the clarity of what is being said. Your selection of music is always good, but try not to let the music compete with the dialog.
That being said, I have found at times that even some professionally produced TV shows, owing to the mixing of volume levels, sound effects, and so forth, run into this problem of drowning out the dialog much worse than you ever have.
Amen to what Jeff said!
So, you’re saying that the music is too loud for those who aren’t native english speakers or who are hard of hearing?
