We’re very happy with California’s recent gay marriage ruling and, if voters follow our advice in November, we can make things even better…
A bumpersticker that will simultaneously piss off ultra right wingers and the morbidly obese (also available on t-shirts and stuff). Check it out… in the Liv Films Store.
This just might be our favorite Liv Films item: the “Repent Sinners” lobster apron! The small print is the quote from Leviticus in which eating shellfish is condemned in the same terms as gay marriage. Repent! If you’re not the apron type, you can get this on something else as well, but admit it… you’re the apron type… the Liv Films Store.

Brilliant, as always! Deuteronomy is also full of great abominations — check out chapter 22 verses 13-30 (start stockpiling stones…) and the first two verses of chapter 23.
wow.. that was excellent. you make some very good points in there that I never knew about.. makes me wanna liv in CA so i can vote…
that’s hilarious! Good work you two!
that was kinda ghey, yall
Now that the California Supreme Court has ruled that every Californian must gay marry, who do each of you do you have your eyes on?
Not really funny, but an ok way of making a political argument in more of a lighthearted way (sorta). Good point about fat marriage. Why not regulate that and everything else? The Bible states homosexuality and shellfish eating are sins. All fall short of the glory of God so falling short does not make one a hypocrite. Both sins (homosexual acts and shellfish eating) are forgivable by Jesus. The government should not help us follow God by outlawing shellfish eating or homosexual acts, and it should not help our health by outlawing or restricting cigarettes, liquor, or other drugs. So why is the government even involved in marriage?
Funny you should ask, Yesh. I have designs on a certain struggling artist, as you shall see in about a week.
No, Original Bill, “falling short” does not make one a hypocrite. What makes one a hypocrite is condemning someone else’s abominable act while rationalizing away one’s own. I didn’t say “if you wear a shirt, you’re a hypocrite”, I said “if you oppose gay marriage and you wear a shirt, you’re a hypocrite”– there’s a big difference there.
On this days gay partners want to be married, but heterosexual (most of them) won’t.
I think we just desire what we don’t have (human nature), because it’s supposed that a marriage is meant to protect the family members from the abusive ones (even if right know it don’t work that way) while raising children, so be married is more like an institution.
So it’s very fanny that most married couples hate it and must gay partners desire it.
I am not against gay people, let every one decide what to to with their life, but marriage between them just doesn’t make any sense.
I know what you said, and I think “what makes one a hypocrite is condemning someone else’s abominable act while rationalizing away one’s own” is a good definition.
On reflection, I think Mona standing alone outside a Red Lobster with a sign protesting is very funny. I can only imagine what Red Lobster thought if they even noticed.
EXCELLENT!!!! JEJEJEJEJEJEJE!!!
Congratulations you are now on Wikipedia and I am not. I remember once someone saying you were all nobodies because you were not on Wikipedia and you not caring, but now, it has happened. First the red carpet and now this.
They already took you out.
Funny, but not really, your use of scripture is really poorly done, you totally left out the New Testament verses that explain homosexual sex as sin Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9 or fail to explain how actually laviticus fits in with the REST of the bible…love it when people pick and choose lines from text to use for their agenda’s
Weather you like it or not, homosexuality, abortion, free love are greatly detramental to society I dare you to look how these acts are leading us to a demographic winter…I dare you to be “open minded” enough http://www.demographicwinter.com/index.html
In case you’re wondering this site is not Christian affliated, it’s secular, and it’s the cold hard truth.
The world cannot afford selfish hedonism any longer. Funny how it will only be the “breeders” who’s children will be working to support gay old peoples asses…because they won’t be contributing to the future…fricken selfish hedonism straight up yo…..word.
Like the video. Some great coments here, too. Proteo5 is so right that “most gay couples desire it [fanny]“! And along the same lines, Fred insightfully references “gay old people’s asses.” Go Fred!!!!
really enjoyed this one. very clever. although i don’t oppose same sex marriage for a number of reasons i do oppose using the euphamism “gay” to describe same sex couples and lifestyle preferences. i’m a strict heterosexual consider myself to be gay in the flintstones sense of the word. i love my afternoon beers and generally feel pretty gay after a couple twelve of ‘em.
Lemme get this straight…
If people do not agree with your views then you get to mock, ridicule, and belittle them and their views as well.
Do I understand that properly?
You make yourselves petty and small.
Yes, Bill, of course that’s what we do. The only thing wrong with your understanding is that we actually think people who agree with our views are fair game as well.
Have you ever watched South Park or the Daily Show or Saturday Night Live or the Tonight Show or anything like that? There’s a whole genre of entertainment based on making fun of people and things. It’s called… Comedy.
Cassius: drinking makes me feel “gay” too. You will see just how “gay” in a couple of days, when we release our next video…
Fred: I’m not having children either, and yet I’m allowed to call my legal union a “marriage”. And as for childless people being a drag on society… are you fucking crazy? I pay taxes to support public schools and to feed the kids of welfare mothers. You seriously believe that NOT having kids creates a drain on everybody else?? NOT having kids is the problem??? I might misuse scripture (btw, I’m not a Christian, so scripture– however it may be interpreted– means very little to me), but you seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of the actual world in which we live.
Original Bill: yeah, we’ve gotten into Wikipedia a few times, but it never seems to last. Oh well, I imagine one of these times it’ll stick…
your video rocks, I have always disliked the hypocrissy in christianity. another issue about christians wanting to ban gay marriage is that they are pushing there religion on others.. last time i checked there was freedom of religion and seperation between church and state…. maybe we should get rid of those and instate a gov sponsered religion…. anyone for being hindu??? just kiding.
anyhow again, great work.
Jed, Go to that website
Wanted to point out the fact that there is now a Google Ad on this page entitled Meet Fat Gay Singles. http://www.GayChubbyDating.com The end result of your posting of this video will certainly be more fat people meeting, fucking, and marrying (at least in Cal and Mass). WTG.
Okay, I’m disappointed! I’ve refreshed this page like 10 times hoping to get the Gay Chubby Chasers ad, but… nothing!
I must make some clarification. Christians are not a monolithic group and to treat them with blanket statements is just as wrong to say that all homosexuals are bad and undeserving of marriage. Your interpretation of the law in Leviticus is hazy. If Christians are following that as a justification for condemning homosexual behavior and marriage, shouldn’t they follow through the consequence?
Lev. 20:13
‘If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
I’m going to guess that since homosexuals are not being drug to the edge of town and stoned daily this is not what most Christians believe. I must say that the fault of this misunderstanding lies with Christians who do not read and study the Bible and then attempt to preach it. Christians ,by definition, are under the New Testament, or New Covenant. The Law of Moses while historic and important does not apply to the New Testament Church. Those laws and dietary codes were given the Hebrews and apply to them unless they become part of the New Testament Church. The parts of that law that are important to the Christian faith are restated in the New Testament. I won’t trouble you with long blocks of scripture, but the references concerning homosexuals are 1 Corinthians 6 and 1 Timothy 1:9-10. So the shellfish and blended fabrics are not examples “hypocrissy”, those are examples of Christians and non-Christians not actually reading or studying the scripture- Christians mostly. Which is a shame since it’s our book and there’s no excuse for allowing Christians or non-Christians to hijack our scriptures and use them to further their own agenda.
Part of the issue is that Marriage is a sacrament of the church. So the government has no business regulating a sacrament of the church. Civil Marriage is a function of a secular government and church has no business tampering with government affairs. Maybe a little mutual respect and perspective would be in order. The amount of time, trouble, arguing and voting on this issue greatly outweighs any possible good or bad effects that would come from it. Cooler heads will prevail. Jesus did say “love thy neighbor as thyself” and “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
This needs clarification. First, the Law as stated in the Old Testament was given to the Hebrews and does not apply to the New Testament, or New Covenant Church. Although the laws and dietary codes are important for historic and background study, those laws that are important to the Christian Faith are re-stated in the New Testament.
Here’s the correct reference from Leviticus.
Leviticus 20:13
If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
It’s safe to say that since gays are not being drug to the edge of town and stoned on a daily basis, this is not what most Christians believe. The New Testament references concerning homosexuals are 1 Corinthians 6 and 1 Timothy 1:9-10. I won’t bother you with a lenghty scripture post. So there’s no “hypocrissy” in the shellfish or blended fabrics. Christians have failed to read and study the scripture and are pointing to laws that do not apply and consequences that cannot be put in place.
Marriage is a sacrament of the Church and it goes without saying that the government has no business regulating sacraments. Equally, civil marriage is a function of a secular goverment the church has no business tampering with the functions of government.
Same-sex marriage has probably cost more in time and trouble than it will ever benefit or damage anyone. In reality, how many gays would actually get married? Seems like a total lack of perspective. Isn’t a large part of it just forcing a group that disapproves of you lifestyle to accept it? was I talking about Christians or Gays?
Jesus said “love thy neighbor as theyself”. That’s a tall order. I’ll bet if both sides followed that line of thought, this wouldn’t be a problem.
pick one and delete the other
Jed, You didn’t simply “misuse scripture” as you said to Fred, you got it completely wrong. Acts 10:9-16, negates Leviticus 11:11 rather soundly. Verse 15 clearly says, “… Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” You have to read the Bible as a whole to understand what it, itself, says.
I will not speak to the litany of other abominations listed throughout the Old Testament, except to say that some of them were likely for health reasons. God wasn’t about to get into the whole bacteria thing a few thousand years before bacteria was discovered.
You quoted from Leviticus 11. Read on. The Clean vs. Unclean lecture gets interesting in verse 32. To summarize: If an unclean animal dies and falls in a cooking pot, that pot has to be “broken up,” but if that same unclean animal dies and falls in a cistern, that’s okay. A cistern it impractical to replace, so God let’s them keep that.
Also note how most of these ills are only in effect until “evening.” Sufficient time for the bacteria to be killed by the individuals vigorous bathing and washing.
And as is vital for all claims of what is and what isn’t, references:

I like you guys because of your intelligence and cleverness with which you use it. With this video, however, you make yourselves look like fools, if only to a select few.
LOVED the fat marriage ban bit, though.
For the record, I am neither Christian nor spiritual. I’m agnostic. Christianity, its book and its followers, however, are a hobby.
Why would one assume that only Bible followers have a problem with gay marriage? Couldn’t your beliefs come from another source? Following the logic posted above, anyone who believes that murder is wrong MUST have got it from the Bible, which they obviously obey. Therefore, when they break the commandment in the next verse by cheating on their wife - they must be a hypocrite.
